The foldable solar barbecue by Alain Bivas
Among the few existing parabolic solar ovens, the SUNplicity solar barbecue is a major advance, allowing everyone to practice delicious solar cooking, anywhere, in perfect safety, with a minimum of supervision, and above all, without any particular skills.
Its slightly longer cooking time than traditional cooking strengthens the aromas and preserves the vitamins; the dishes do not stick to the bottom of the casserole dish or burn; If you forget, the sun turns and cooking ends automatically.

Add ¼ hour per hour of standard cooking time for a tasty result. -
1 liter of boiling water = ½ hour. -
For optimal function you need a beautiful blue sky. -
An innovative aiming system allows you to calculate your cooking time.

The mirror sheet remains cold, only the container heats up. -
In case of wind the mirror can turn around without spilling anything. -
The bottom of the base is designed to receive ballast in order to secure stability. -

Alain Bivas won the Lépine competition ten years ago for creating a solar oven. Since then, his invention, entirely handmade in France, has traveled the world.
Without energy consumption and without risk of fire, the solar oven created by Alain Bivas is an invention of the future. With its parabolic appearance, it cooks food by reflecting the heat of the sun. Its inventor called it Sunplicity. Distinguished by a gold medal in the Lépine competition ten years ago, this solar oven is produced in Tarn, in a work assistance workshop which employs people with disabilities.
Ecology, but also taste.
“All the reasons are good for doing solar cooking, it’s not just global warming, there’s also local pollution, the economy, autonomy, independence, free. And then there’s the taste, it’s good! ”, highlights Alain Bivas. His invention is also meeting with more and more success in France, and even throughout the world: orders come from Australia, Asia and even the United States.

The Solar Impulse Foundation aims to select and promote globally 1000 economically profitable solutions to protect the environment.
